Technology

We offer state-of-the-art technology to provide the most comprehensive eye care that preserves your eye health and enhances your vision to give you the best quality of life possible.

Annual eye exams are vital to maintaining both vision and eye health. Our state-of-the-art Optomap retinal camera captures a picture of the back of the eye and helps the doctors monitor for changes from year to year. This pictures acts as a baseline for healthy patients and is helpful in managing patients with certain eye conditions such as glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, retinal holes, tears, and detachments. The retinal photo is also helpful in managing systemic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes.

The Zeiss Cirrus HD-OCT is another imaging tool we have in the office that can assist the doctors in diagnosing and managing certain eye conditions such as glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and optic nerve head drusen. This imaging tool is special in that it takes a cross sectional image of the retina and allows the doctors to see the retina from a different perspective than is viewed when looking into the eye or with a retinal picture.

The Visionix Ark-Topo can help our doctors detect irregularities of the cornea and diagnose eye conditions such as keratoconus. This device can also aid in fitting contact lenses, specifically gas permeable and scleral lenses.
